3rd Archival All Souls’ Day Conference

On November 29, 2024, the 3rd Archival Souls’ Day, a cyclical conference organized under the scientific leadership of Prof. dr hab. Halina Dudała, UKEN (Institute of History and Archival Studies) and Prof. dr hab. Waldemar Chorążyczewski (UMK) took place at the headquarters of the District Branch of the NBP in Cracow. 

The conference brought together representatives of the academic community and archivists representing the Nicolaus Copernicus University, Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School, the University of Silesia, the Catholic University of Lublin, the University of Opole, the National Archives in Cracow, the Archive of Science of PAU-PAN in Cracow, the State Archives in Siedlce, the University of Siedlce, and the Archives of the Evangelical-Augsburg Parish in Cracow. Organizational support for the event was provided by the College of Philosophy and Theology of the Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School. 

The Deputy Dean of the College of Philosophy and Theology at SGMK, Prof. dr hab. Miroslaw Lenart, gave a lecture entitled “Archives and Archivists in the Symbolism of Christian Culture.”
