The Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School entered into cooperation with the Association of Polish Local Governments. The cooperation agreement was signed today by Prof. dr hab. Gertruda Uścińska, Rector of the Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School, and Adam Ciszkowski, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Polish Local Governments.
The SGMK and the Association of Polish Local Governments will cooperate in improving the qualifications and skills of the association’s members, as well as in the implementation of joint educational, scientific, research and development projects. Representatives of the association will also participate in the work of the University Stakeholder Council.
Cooperation will be based on mutual exchange of intellectual, organizational and technological resources, taking into account the needs of the labor market in the local government sector and the specificity of the tasks carried out by the employees of local government units.
The Association of Polish Local Governments works to support the idea of local self-government, including the initiation, promotion and implementation of joint projects for the development of cooperation between local governments. The activities are also aimed at ensuring the continued development of local government officials at various levels, as well as supporting family values, tradition, local history and national identity.
