Energy revolution: social and political implications

Future directions in the energy sector were the main topic of the conference held on January 28 in Warsaw. The Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School was a substantive partner of the event organized by the Association of the Institute of Market Economy. 

The main theme of the conference was: “Innovation and the Future: Future Directions in Energy – Innovations Driving Change.” It discussed innovations in the energy industry that will define the future of the sector. 

A group of experts analyzed new technologies, such as smart grids and renewable energy sources, and their potential to transform both markets and people’s daily lives. 

Speakers included Tomasz Andrzejewski, Simple H2, Dr. Agnieszka Boettcher of the NCBJ’s Department of Nuclear Energy and Environmental Analysis, Prof. Zbigniew Krysiak of the Schuman Thought Institute, Prof. Arkadiusz Adamczyk, UJK, Albert Borowiecki of the Institute for Contemporary China Studies, Dr. Artur Krukowski, SGMK, Dr. Dariusz Budrowski, SGMK. 

The event was supported by funds from the Ministry of Education and Science under the Social Responsibility of Science II Program.
