We are only 16 days away from an international, interdisciplinary debate of experts and scientists on artificial intelligence (AI) in science and industry of the future. On June 13-14, 2024 the Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School in Warsaw will be hosting the next scientific congress – AI&EDU SGMK.

Two days of talks, lectures and discussions featuring special guest speakers will be devoted to the latest developments and applications of artificial intelligence and other exponential technologies.

“Artificial intelligence and its impact on teaching, research and industry of the future will be the leading topic of the next scientific congress of the Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School. The interdisciplinary, international debate of distinguished scientists and practitioners from the world’s best research centers is a chance to exchange knowledge, experience and establish cooperation in such a rapidly changing area as AI, says Prof. Fabrizio Giulimondi, Acting Rector of the Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School.

Just like the Futurist of the Year, organized by SGMK in April 2024, The AI&EDU – Artificial Intelligence in Science and Industry congress will become an interdisciplinary space for cross-fertilization of knowledge and ideas for Polish and international experts and researchers. Speakers will include Professor Gennaro Terracciano, a lawyer and vice-rector of the Università degli Studi di Roma “Foro Italico, and Professor Andrzej Dragan, a leading Polish theoretical physicist, from the University of Warsaw.

Also speaking at the congress will be SpaceX and Boston Dynamics Ambassador Agnieszka Pilat, Polish-American artist and writer specializing in rendering portraits of technology to explore the relationship between humans and machines in the 21st century.

How does technology affect our lives? Where are we and where are we headed? Is artificial intelligence helpful and equitable? Education with AI – an opportunity or a threat? – these will be some of the issues discussed by participants at the two-day scientific congress on AI in science and industry of the future.
