“Federalization of the European Union: opportunity or threat?” is the title of an international academic conference taking place today in Rome with the participation of prominent Polish and Italian scholars. 

The event is co-organized by Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School and the University of Rome “Foro Italico” as part of the cooperation agreement signed at the AI&EDU SGMK Scientific Congress in June. 

During the opening ceremony of the conference, Prof. Gertruda Uścińska, Rector of the Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School, read out a letter from President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda, addressed to the event participants.

The discussion during the conference will revolve around the broad topic of federalization of the European Union. Prof. Dr. Gertruda Uścińska, will deliver a lecture on the legal, social and economic challenges of the European Union.
