International Conference “Small nuclear reactors as a catalyst for change”

On January 15-16, an international conference “Small nuclear reactors as a catalyst for change” will be held in Warsaw. Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School is a substantive partner of the event.

Organized by the Association of the Institute of National Economy, the conference aims to present innovations in nuclear energy and their impact on communities and the economy, as well as to promote international cooperation and dialogue in the nuclear energy sector.

The international conference will focus on the role of small modular nuclear reactors (SMRs) in the energy transition. The program will include workshops, educational sessions and debates with experts, scientists, industry representatives. Issues related to the design, implementation and management of SMR projects will be presented – from the technical aspects of SMRs, their impact on the environment, to socio-economic issues.

We invite everyone interested in nuclear energy, promotion of sustainable development and the topic of reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

The project is supported by state budget funds granted by the Minister of Education and Science under the “Excellent Science II” program.
