25th anniversary of the SGH Department of Public Administration
The conference was part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Department of Public Administration at the SGH College of Socio-Economics, which has been conducting research and education in modern public administration and public management for a quarter of a century. In recognition of this role, Prof. Gertruda Uścińska presented a congratulatory letter to Prof. Bogusław Pytlik, head of the Department of Public Administration, emphasizing his contribution to the development of the department and his influence on the education of successive generations of specialists in this field. It was a unique moment acknowledging Prof. Pytlik’s scientific achievements and his long-standing commitment to the development of public administration.
During the conference, experts discussed key issues concerning contemporary administrative and political challenges. The conference program included three main thematic sessions:
- Interdisciplinarity of research in public administration
- Implementation of public policy in dynamically changing conditions
- The impact of legal regulations on the effectiveness of administrative actions
Prof. Uścińska’s participation in the conference is an example of SGMK’s involvement in the debate on the development and modernization of the public sector. The conference provided an excellent platform for the exchange of experiences and best practices between scientists and specialists from different universities and research institutions. The SGMK Rector actively participated in the discussions on the future of public policy in Poland, emphasizing the importance of adapting the administration to the challenges of the present day.
