Prof. Gertruda Uścińska, Rector of the Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School, took part in the XI conference “Posting of Workers to the EU: Risks and Prospects in the Context of Dynamic Legal and Social Changes,” which took place on October 24, 2024, in Warsaw. This is one of the largest events dedicated to this topic in Poland, with the participation of prominent Polish and international experts.
The SGMK Rector spoke at the European panel “Debate on the future of the employment market and the care sector in Europe – national and EU plans.”
The European panel provided a broad insight into future EU regulations that will have a huge impact on the labor market in Poland. The discussion of EU directives and legislative plans showed the importance of preparing for upcoming changes.
Prof. Gertruda Uścińska has more than 25 years of experience in the field of posting of workers. She is a member of the Council of the European Commission in this area, and has participated in the negotiations of Poland’s entry into the European Union. She is a Professor of Law and author of hundreds of scientific publications on the subject.
