SpaceX’s Crew Dragon capsule arrives at ISS

SpaceX’s Crew Dragon capsule has arrived at the International Space Station (ISS), where American astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore have been stranded since June 2024. Their stay was initially expected to last only eight days.

The Crew Dragon capsule docked with the International Space Station (ISS) 29 hours after being lifted into space by a Falcon 9 booster rocket from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Friday.

The crew included American astronauts Anne McClain (commander) and Nichole Ayers, Russian cosmonaut Kirill Peskov, and Japanese astronaut Takuya Onishi.

Crew Dragon is scheduled to begin its return from the ISS to Earth on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. Polish time.
